About Ann Geyer

The firm was founded in the 1950's by Donald J Statt, Sr., who developed a quality practice with good, loyal clients, many of whom became personal friends.

When he died in 1994, Don Statt, Jr and I had a choice of merging with a larger firm, gaining efficiency and convenience for ourselves, but becoming in the process more impersonal and less responsive to our clients. We enjoyed the long-term personal relationships; we were proud of Don's tradition of quality service, and wanted to continue to offer competitively low rates.

We decided to stay in our convenient suburban location, sharing space, library and other resources with three other firms and maintaining good working relationships with attorneys, investment advisors, bankers and trust officers. This strategy keeps our overhead low and yet allows us to maintain the confidentiality so important to our clients as well as giving us the resources to offer you the best in business and tax advice.

So, in my continuing commitment to these principles, I promise you will never be shunted around a "phone-tree" or passed down to an inexperienced staff person in this firm. You will always be able to discuss your problems or plans with an experienced professional who truly cares about your success.
